At Uncharted Alaska Distillery, every bottle tells a story, and our latest whiskey release is no exception. The captivating label gracing our new bottle is a testament to the rich history of our distillery, seamlessly blending the past with the present.

The inspiration for this label came from a remarkable photograph generously donated to the museum here in Ketchikan. The image captures a bygone era, featuring a dog adorned with a fire hat, sporting glasses, and casually puffing on a cigarette. This charismatic canine sits proudly in the oldest fire engine that still stands as a symbol of Ketchikan's firefighting history.

Adding another layer to the story, our distillery resides in the historic building that once housed the local fire department. Constructed in 1947, this structure has witnessed the evolution of Ketchikan, and now it serves as the backdrop for our craft distillery. The label, therefore, becomes a bridge between the past and present, honoring the legacy of our community and the building that has stood the test of time.
