Introducing our first batch of whiskey!
This inaugural batch of sorghum whiskey promises a sensory journey that begins with its captivating color. The distinctive essence of sorghum is complemented by subtle undertones of caramel and vanilla, giving it a unique and interesting aroma. Each sip is a celebration of the aging process, as the oak barrels impart a subtle complexity, elevating the whiskey to a level of refined maturity.
At Uncharted Alaska Distillery, every bottle tells a story, and our latest whiskey release is no exception. The striking label on this new bottle honors the rich history of our distillery, blending the past with the present. Inspired by a remarkable photograph donated to the Ketchikan museum, the label features a charismatic dog wearing a fire hat, glasses, and smoking a cigarette while sitting proudly in the oldest fire engine still standing in the city—symbolizing Ketchikan’s firefighting legacy. Our distillery is housed in the historic building that once served as the local fire department, constructed in 1947, and has witnessed the evolution of the community. The label serves as a tribute to both the building’s storied past and the craftsmanship of our whiskey. As you enjoy this new release, we invite you to savor not only the spirit but also the history that it represents.
